Hi all, in my opinion: Mr. Chen's just paying what he got! He is a shareholder also a standing member of Malata Canada (in Mandarin, Malata is pronounced as Wanlida)
Malata Canada imported DVD players from Hong Kong Malata in the past several years, the total cost of imported goods from Hong Kong Malata is about CA$7,000,000.00; However, Malata Canada paid about CA2,000,000.00 only to Hong Kong Malata. That's why they went to the court in Year 2007 in Ontario, Canada.
I don't know the relationship between Fujian Nanjing Wanlida Technical Co., Ltd. and Hong Kong Malata. But it is said Fujian Nanjing Wanlida Technical Co., Ltd. indicted Mr. Chen and his company in Mainland China. Thereby I think they have business relationship at least. (Above Information source: http://www.gcpnews.com/articles/2007-03-31/C1063_8510.html, it is a Canada local Chinese newspaper, but not a newspaper from China). Also, I think that's why he was indicted by a China company and arrested in China.
Before supporting him, please ask yourself few questions: why he was arrested in China!? And, I go to China at least twice per year, why I was never arrested in China? Why???
If he never hurt anybody, hurt any business, why Fujian Nanjing Wanlida Technical Co., Ltd. impleaded him in China? China is not a country like it 60 years ago was. Anybody impounded will be presented an Official Impoundment Notification (Certificate) before being impounded, the people will be told why he is impounded. And mostly, the reason for impoundment will also be released to the spouse, family and relatives; Also, anybody arrested will be presented an Official Arrest Notification, the reason(s) of arrest is shown on the certificate. And this record will be kept in your personal profile for whole life. Even you are a foreigner spy, you will be presented the official notification and be told the reason of arrest. The public security bureau won't arrest anyone without any witness and evidence of a crime. The public security bureau has limited employees and outlays. They will not pay any bill which not benefits the society and communities!
All Canadian friends, I'm just telling you what I know till now. Please think of my words above before supporting him if it is worthy to leave him your pity here! Thanks!
To Mrs. Chen: do u think everybody in Canada is a fool? Your husband is now paying for what he got! 5 Million Canadian Dollars was illegally occupied by you! How can u fool Canadians here to save your husband? Shame on you!
