I assume a below-average number of annual hydro bills for average families. The exact number is irrelevant in this debate. The point is if an annual hydro bill is $1500, then you spend $750,000 every year as you argued that taking out HST from hydro bill means taking out 0.02% of taxable spending.
You don't have to agree $1500, but you do have to name a number of your annual hydro bill, then I can tell you how much you spend annually by YOUR MATH!
