这里引申出另外一个问题。

很多人说“房东把房子出租,都是贪小便宜,没本事还要死撑买房子”!!
。
但请大家看看实际情况,
。
第一,先不说房东那一笔,先说房客。
。
供求关系有求才有供,如果没有人租单间,那么谁还会把房间出租??! 也就是说,在说房东“贪小便宜”,“没本事”之时,也要看看房客本身是一个什么实际情况??!! 只要你是个移民或者留学生,回想一下自己刚LANDING的时候,有谁一落地就签了个一年的APARTMENT? 或者一来就把房子买好?? 如果你能做到只能说明你绝对NB!!!

第二,说说市政府。
。
市政条列里面对房屋是否可以出租是有很多限制的,但还是那么多人出租,政府怎么也不管一下??!!
。
实际上市政府是睁只眼闭只眼,默许房东把房间出租。为什么?? 如果来真的要杜绝房间出租,那么多少人要睡大街??? 政府那丁点PUBLIC HOUSING或者shelter住得下吗??? 如此一来市政府不是自找麻烦??!要知道放眼GTA,多少难民,留学生,新移民没有能力租个自住APARTMENT? 哪怕是个800左右的STUDIO。不要忘了出了租金还有上网CABLE等费用,而且APARTMENT合约一订最起码1年,对于生活不稳定的人群,根本不合适!!

归根究底是政府需要那些ROOMING HOUSE的存在。

同理,要抓非法劳工,到餐馆超市一抓一大堆,为什么移民局不去抓人??! 都抓走了,谁去做那些脏活啊??!!

If you preventing them, you can be handcuffed and arrested. To fire retrofit your property is not just put on couple of smoke detector, the wall, the door have to be fire prove material, and electrical wire have to be retrofit as well, an extra exit may be also required. My Russian neighbor had such horrible experience, it cost him almost $25,000.00 to retrofit his basement. I still remember the fear in his eyes when the fire department visiting his house. |
