打从统计局今年一月报导说餐馆吃饭费用比一年前上涨3.8%后,我就根本不看统计局的数据了。数据的政治倾向太高。
真实的经济状况是下面这四篇文章所述:

“The economy is shrinking but the deficit is rising, get used to it. The folly of the Liberal economic "plan" is starting to sink in. Borrowing money to give away to boost consumer spending is amateur. Any govt can borrow gobs of money to boost growth, the trick is to boost the economy without govt borrowing gobs of money. Won't happen with these amateurs.”
“A shrinking economy and Trudeau's plan is to add a carbon tax.
What could go wrong?”
“Employers want young and cheap.”
“If things were so good interest rates would be much higher but bank is afraid to raise them for fear of the truth of our economy is falling apart .”
“There is no such thing as a labor shortage, only a shortage of people willing to work at what they are willing to pay. Raise wages, and there will be no shortage of people willing to do the job. Labor is like any other commodity, you can either pay market value, or do without.”
“There is no shortage of workers, believing otherwise is just buying into a sales job, being done to us , to promote immigration. What there is a shortage of is: good paying, full time work, with benefits. Employment (or a career) worth having, that pays a "living wage", allowing you to consider having a family, and participating in society.”
“The wages are so low many don't want to work for it. Our economy has been slowly increasing part time min wage jobs for the last 15 years. In 1987 i worked as maintenance at a arena, job paid 13.50 an hour, today that same job pays 12 an hour.”
