保守党不是反移民而是主张适度移民，保证移民来了能发挥特长，找到合适自己知识经验的工作。既对移民自身有好处，也对加拿大社会负责。如果移民太急太滥，加拿大能不能消化吸收, 移民会成为社会负担，造成社会问题。

看看败家子加了多少税就知道不能选自由党。加拿大是个苦寒之地，能养活多少人呢？一味地移民难民，只能以牺牲国民的生活质量为前提。

正在角逐保守党领袖职位的前公共安全部长斯蒂芬.布拉尼星期三（1月4日）表示，加拿大如果想让新移民和难民更好地融入主流社会，就应该减少接收数量。

他还批评杜鲁多领导的自由党政府在制定目标时乱来，只考虑政治目的，不考虑各城市和省份的接纳能力。他说，来到加拿大的新移民和难民不能在自己的专业领域找到工作，造成“梦想破碎”。

来自魁北克省的布拉尼选择在蒙特利尔市召开新闻发布会，公开他的移民政策设想。他认为，必须加强对新移民和难民的安全检查，并承诺增加入籍考试的难度和内容，目的是保证申请入籍者了解人权宪章、男女平等和言论自由等根本性的原则。

他表示，获得加拿大国籍意味着权利，也意味着责任。“我们必须让移民两方面都了解。”

这才是真正的治国之道，句句真言，其实前保守党哈勃政府，已经清楚地看到加拿大移民政策的弊端，开始着手解决，修订的移民政策就是以提高移民质量为核心的，本来按着前保守党哈勃政府修订的移民政策，加拿大的移民应该走上正常轨道，结果让自由党土豆政府打乱了，自由党土豆政府把移民当人情，拉选票的工具，降低移民质量，大量接受难民，贻害无穷，

自由党是个非常自私的政党，制定的政策基本都是围绕自身利益的，很少从国家利益及民众利益着想

腐烂自由党的做法，就是把移民骗来，然后任其自生自灭。以前新移民登录，腐烂自由党还要从人生地不熟的新移民身上每人刮取将近1000加元的登陆费，直到保守党哈珀上台才取消这个新移民人头税。

Whether to keep accepting a large number of immigrants and refugees should depend on certain criterias: Are these newcomers and other Canadians able to easily find well paid jobs? Are the wages rising as employers competing for workers? Do we have sufficient infrastructures, health care system, and other social program that can handle such a large influx of people? In today's Canada, the answers to these questions are No, No and No.

保守党修订的新移民政策，提高移民质量，就考虑了移民融入主流社会因素之一，如果按前保守党哈勃修订的以提高移民质量为核心的移民政策，新移民融入主流社会就容易的多

Let me ask you buddy: when you applied for immigration to Canada, were you and other Canadians able to easily find well paid jobs? Were the wages rising as employers competing for workers? Did we have sufficient infrastructures, health care system, and other social programs that could handle such a large influx of people?

It was not perfect then, but much better than today.  At least the IT, financial and energy sectors were booming at that time. Newcomers had no problem locating good paying jobs after taking a few quick courses in IT or accounting. Wages were also rising fast as employers competing for workers, big signing bonuses were handed out to many new hires. As you know, the employment picture is much dimmer today, last year, pretty much all the new jobs were part time, while full time jobs are being lost. And forget about raises and signing bonuses, you are lucky if you can just keep a job.
