美国《迈阿密先驱报》7月26日报道，一位曾在阿富汗和伊拉克从事高危拆弹任务而获得过紫心勋章的拉丁裔现役军人在迈阿密戴德县的家被政府强行夷为平地，他怀孕五个月的妻子、

患糖尿病的女儿、听觉受损的弟弟、以及年迈的岳母都被踢到大街上，无家可归，包括钢琴在内的大多数财产都未能及时从房子内搬出来。

这发生在2011年。2007年，政府认为这名叫杰西·吉梅内斯的军人房子不安全，要求修缮，但他没钱申请修缮许可证。6周后吉梅内斯被派往伊拉克，房子未修好，被罚款934美元。

政府对他家又进行了检查，发现部分附属建造未经许可——但吉梅内斯表示1989年买房之前就已如此，有合同为证，过户时政府未尽到检查的责任就签字。之

后其家人与政府一直谈判扯皮，吉梅内斯甚至写信给州长，后来他家被政府断电，直到2011年，他的房子干脆被政府铲平。

吉梅内斯认为政府有意针对自己，周围很多人家房子都与他家情况类似，房屋破损而且有非法附属单元，却没被找麻烦。

房子被铲平后不久，这家人给“遗址”上摆了面国旗和一个牌子，牌子上用英文和西班牙文写着：“我们的家曾在这里。这就是美国政府如何感谢一个用生命为祖国服务的现役军人：让他全家流落街头！”

“I think (the judge’s ruling) is outstanding,” Jimenez said. “It’s great that we finally have come to a decision. I’m relieved.”

看你这个消息发得。。。被人家把原文都找出来。如果照原文翻译，那也没有什么问题。可是你这个意思差了多少？
