You didn't answer my question, which country rapidly improved its economy after changing its political system to be as 'efficient' as China's? No. Because it's not possible. China's economic success is a result of many other factors (those I mentioned above), which has nothing to do with its political system. And those factors (especially half billion young workers from countryside who are willing to work for petite wages in the cities) do not exist in any other countries. Don't forget, US, Canada, Japan, all western countries experienced a period of rapid economic development in the 50s to 70s when the population were young, and market potentials were huge, but sooner or later, growth slowed rapidly when population get old, competitions increased and markets became saturated. China will be no exception. However, because of its totalistic political system, a rapid slowdown of economy could have a far more severe consequence for China comparing to a democratic nation.
