英文版的Windows2000如何能使用中文？

请教电脑高手：

我的笔记本电话可能是在来加的途中不小心碰了，硬盘坏了，换了一个硬盘。本机原是中文98，但我不喜欢用，因为什么都要driver。

我带来的中文的Windows2000是盗版的，读不过去，但我带来的英文Windows2000好用，但是不能使用中文，请问是否需要安装中文平台能解决这个问题？那么用什么中文平台？有下载的地方吗？

actually. you can just choose to display "simply chinese" for your region option at control panel. and then you need to install a chinese input software such as ZHI NENG ABC. but i do like to use ZHI GUANG PIN YIN. if you give me your e-mail. maybe i can mail to you if the file is not too big.
sorry, i can not use chinese, because there are no chinese input software when i work.

谢谢swiftcloud ，我使用智能陈桥5.3，蛮好用的，五笔、拼音、英文的转换很方便。我用五笔输入，不常用的字不会打五笔就换成拼音，且方便切换成英文。

I am running on Window XP Pro En. So I can tell you exactly how configure you computer. But I am sure English Windows 2000 can be used like Chinese version except the menu display in English. I have done it before.
At first, you  should install the Language package from your CD. From Control Panel, you can choose language and location. Choose your location as China (PRC). From Advance choose install SouthAsia Languagel Package. Select OK.
Then, System install language package, after that, you maybe need restart you computer.
Now, you can read Chinese  and input Chinese using windows defaut input methods (you can choose from language and location)
If you want to install Chinese software, You should select the defaut Unicode as Chinese from language and location.

I cannot tell you exactly. I only can remember those. My OS is Win XP En, I can read, input Chinese, and install Chinese software.
