加拿大电视台CTV则在3月25日的报道中请来“西藏及中国专家”、 现任B.C.大学圣约翰斯学院（St. John's College）院长布鲁克（Timothy Brook）反驳卢大使的说法，称他以中国人描述西藏历史时惯用的手法误导国际社会。

这些吃饱没事干的西方人，就想把西藏一直处于奴隶制度下。就象是圈了一块自然保护区，自己平时生活在无忧无虑的国度里。没事到到这些保护区里旅游。根本没有考虑过那里普通老百姓的基本人权和生活。

他们也不想一想，那些多国部队入侵伊拉克的目的是什么。入侵后，带去的是什么？自己还大谈什么人权，文化保护，资源。可耻啊。

你应该知道中国有多少个少数民族吧？西藏问题不过是达赖想把宗教问题政治化。

‘汉人藏人老百姓都是一家亲’这句话我爱听。但“哪里有压迫，那里就有反抗”就是学共产党当年闹革命说的吧。建国后到文革结束，西藏的文化，宗教设施受到破坏。但那不只是在西藏，文革是全国的浩劫。

文革结束后，少数民族被政府保护得象块心头肉。在西藏，真正受气的是汉族人。在其他城市，新疆小孩子集体偷窃已经不是什么新闻。没人敢管。我真看不到你说的压迫在哪里。

中国政府在西藏吃力不讨好，只能说是管理的方式方法上有问题，要改进。不至于什么‘压迫’什么‘反抗’，情绪过于极端不利身体健康。呵呵。

喏大个多伦多，翻身得解放的农奴找不到就罢了，可怜这些多伦多藏胞体会不到国内藏胞的幸福生活；怎么连几个整天可以大骂哈珀和布什的本地学者或者政客都请不到吗，人家能请国会议员/著名律师，怎么他们就不能为正义的中国人捧场，如果需要money的话，这么多热血青年还凑不够吗？

The issue was joined in 1956-57, when armed Tibetan bands ambushed convoys of the Chinese Peoples Liberation Army. The uprising received extensive assistance from the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), including military training, support camps in Nepal, and numerous airlifts.27 Meanwhile in the United States, the American Society for a Free Asia, a CIA-financed front, energetically publicized the cause of Tibetan resistance, with the Dalai Lama’s eldest brother, Thubtan Norbu, playing an active role in that organization. The Dalai Lama's second-eldest brother, Gyalo Thondup, established an intelligence operation with the CIA as early as 1951. He later upgraded it into a CIA-trained guerrilla unit whose recruits parachuted back into Tibet

Throughout the 1960s, the Tibetan exile community was secretly pocketing $1.7 million a year from the CIA, according to documents released by the State Department in 1998. Once this fact was publicized, the Dalai Lama’s organization itself issued a statement admitting that it had received millions of dollars from the CIA during the 1960s to send armed squads of exiles into Tibet to undermine the Maoist revolution. The Dalai Lama's annual payment from the CIA was $186,000.    Indian intelligence also financed both him and other Tibetan exiles.

Into the twenty-first century, via the National Endowment for "Democracy"  and other conduits that are more respectable sounding than the CIA, the U.S. Congress continued to allocate an annual $2 million to Tibetans in India, with additional millions for “democracy activities” within the Tibetan exile community. In addition to these funds, the Dalai Lama received money from financier George Soros

few Tibetans would welcome a return of the corrupt aristocratic clans that fled with him in 1959 and that comprise the bulk of his advisers. Many Tibetan farmers, for example, have no interest in surrendering the land they gained during China’s land reform to the clans. Tibet’s former slaves say they, too, don’t want their former masters to return to power
