[求助]探亲签证续签

想请教大家一个问题：
如果探亲签证1月份到期，是否应该在12月就提前申请？移民局的guide上面写至少提前30天申请。而另一个网页上的processing time是要80多天。到底应该提前多少天申请？如果半年期到了续签还没下来，是否有缓冲期？

Renewal of a visitor's visa consists of a visitor's visa and a temporary resident permit.  The latter is automatic.  However, if you renew your visitor's visa after the expiry date, you will have to reinstate your TRP for a fee.

Submit your application now - 60 days is a reasonable time.

My last application took more than 3 months, but they will count your renewal from the date they receive your application.

Once your submit your application, relax, even if you haven't received the new one.  It will take some time.  December is a slow month because of the holidays.

Yes, the art of dealing with the government is to provide whatever information they ask - nothing more and nothing less.

For visa renewal, the key is your return ticket and proof of financial resources to stay in Canada.

It is very easy.  Just do it.
