There are 1 million Chinese in Canada.
The biggest group is the second or third generations who are not interested in visiting China
The second is those from Hong Kong. They have access to a Return Permit, so don't need a visa.
The third is those from Taiwan. How many of them would visit China, unless for a business trip?
Most of those from mainland still are new and have a Chinese passport, so no visa is needed.
I would assume a good number of these visitors are non Chinese Canadians.
I don't understand why those from Hong Kong do not need a visa, but those from mainland, after becoming a Canadian citizen, do.
I feel abandoned. |
