该机构的名称是Catholic Cross-Cultural Services. 有不少办事处. 我去的是在Mississauga的一个办事处. 地址是: 90 Dundas Street West, Suite 204, Mississauga, ON, L5B 2T5. 是政府认可的机构, 有中文服务, 态度极好. 免费办理枫叶卡公证. 电话是: 905-273-4140Ext.233. Amy Chen, Settlement Counsellor. (中文服务). 望大家互相转告. 不要再交冤枉钱.

早上打了很多电话，中午亲自去了一次附近的一个Immigrant Service Center。得到结果是，大温地区没有Free 的公证服务。

后来search了一下网页，发现BC省所有公证行的list。
地址如下： http://www.notaries.bc.ca
你可以通过“find a notary”来找到list。

打了十来家的电话比较了价格。
有的洋人的事务所反而不贵，30-35/人。
也有几家贵的是50-55/人。
还有两家看名字听口音象印巴人的，35，40/人。
三家看名字象华人的，一家35/人，一家40/人，
还有一家很离谱，要70/人。 :eek:

希望上面的东西对这里的朋友有帮助，也希望找到便宜公证行的朋友在这里share一下信息，多谢多谢。 :smile:


另外，打了电话去CIC，补充2点，
1） Client ID 可填可不填
2） 照片背后，只要让照相馆写拍照的date，然后让公证行签字
就可以了。用不着在那块小地方写整句statement。

哦，对了，还有一点。
整份申请一共要公证人签4个名，
分别是5444表上，照片后面，PassPort copy上，和Landing Paper copy 上。
很多公证事务所是根据有几个签名(signature)来收费(charge)的，
你可以告诉他是一份申请里有4签名(怎么搞的象福尔摩斯 )，可能可以便宜一点。   
如果你是一家人一起办，也有可能给你discount。 ;)

我个人觉得，从原则上讲是可以的。因为上次我打电话问CIC的时候，工作人员讲只要有照相馆写的日期和公证人的签名就可以了。 没有特别的限制。

不过保险起见，你最好再打个电话去CIC确认一下。
