BS. Nobody 忽略经纪们的劳动和付出, we just want to let market decide how much they should be paid, not by an arbitrary number (which is insanely high) set by MLS and its agents.
Most people complain the real estate agents are charge too much commission fee. The solution actually relies on the sellers. When You are trying to sell a house through a agent, you have to sign a contract. The contracts show how much you have to pay to the seller agent and buyer agent and it is negotiable. I know in Saskatoon or some other places, the seller only have to pay one percent or less to the seller agent and another one percent to the buyer agent.
The buyer should ask his agent to show him on the website how much the seller is going to pay both sides of agents. .
