我理解如下:对坏的东西,罪恶的东西,我们应该用一种更平静的心态去看待和对待它们,而不是过度地考虑是宽恕它们,还是惩罚它们。下面的内容是我在刚来多伦多时在教堂里学到的最受用的,感受最深的。
SERENITY PRAYER
God grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot
change,
the COURAGE to change the things I can,
and the WISDOM to know the difference.
祷告安宁
上帝给予我们安宁去接受那些我们不能改变的事情,
赋予我们勇气去改变那些我们可以改变的事情,
赐予我们智慧去区分二者的不同。

courage to change the things I can;

Living one day at a time;
