Chinese Christian Should not turn into Chinese suckers. Those stupidos even can not read/write English well, how come daring/bold enough to stand out and express their twisted view of the bible? 这些都是好事呀，我一点都不担心。 我担心的是，加拿大不让虐待宠物！据说把狗杀了吃还违法，不知是真是假？诺大一个多伦多，连家狗肉店都找不到！比中国落后太多了！

同性恋又不影响别人，为什么要反对？恐怕主要是因为宗教信仰的缘故吧？

不反对就是赞成，或持中间立场？ 先把同性恋影响别人与否放到一边，你是赞成还是反对？

很多其他的抗议什么都很少看到中国人的身影，唯独这个，每次都有很多中国基督徒跳出来。反正没有牵涉到自己的利益，只是为了拒绝给别人提供权利。身为少数群体，却更喜欢歧视更小的少数群体，有点悲哀。 当然，每个人都有表达自己想法的权利，但为什么在这件事情上华人要当出头鸟？ 让主流觉得好像中国人人人都是homophobics？希望不是给人利用了。

很多省1年前都已经允许同性婚姻了，天也没有塌下来，犯罪率也没有因此提高。还是多多参加像3。11游行这样有的游行更有意义！

What are you talking about?! Letting two people loving each other get married (monogomy with all bound responsibilities) is immoral?! What is your moral code? What does your moral code come from? Same sex marriage is not only about the defination of a civil marriage, but also the fundamental human rights. You think depriving of committed gay couples many basic rights affiliated with the defination of "spouse" and "dependent" is moral? Be rational and logical. Same sex couples have not interfered with the rights and marriage benefits entitled to any heterosexual couple; heterosexual marriage has never been threatened; change of the legal defination can not and will not alter any existing/potential heterosexual relationship unless there is something weird/secretive going on there; change of the legal defination of civil marriage can not and will not transform a heterosexual into a homosexual unless the very heterosexual is a long "closeted" homosexual; change of the legal defination of civil marriage will grant equality and many long-waited basic rights to the two PEOPLE who are in love and genuine relationship. Wake up!! Stop bullying/attacking other minority groups. You are from a minority too. Wake up and use your brain to think rationally! It is a civil marriage. Your religious rights are protected (assuming you really understand what your faith is).

Thanks for the rational thinking and tolerating opinion about the progressive defination of civil marriage. Sorry for having to link this news with "ill-educated" and "Chinese" because this is the very fact presented in many media too. Based on the culture charisteristcs and hundreds of years of history of the civilized Chinese, it is not difficult to take the perspective and form a judgement that what the "Chinese Christian" group's behavior is not only about religion. Think deeper about the what they have done after all. Have you ever heard this group campaigned to preserve the greenland? Have you ever heard this group campaigned to stop child sexual abuse? Have you ever heard this group campaigned to promote social welfare? What are they doing now?! It is very ugly, very bigoted, very intolerating. What happened in USA(the amendent of constitution in some states) have to be considered in a political view. It is not only about religion either. After all, Canada is Canada, USA is USA. The debates about a similar issue in two nations can not be mixed up. Even though you like to make a comparison, when you look into the situation, you won't be surprised how significantly the level of edcuation can influence people's thinking. No offence. It is just fact and statistic figures. Bottom line: Being a Chinese, having the privilege to settle in Canada, it is crucial to respect other minority and be willing to share the equality and fundermental human rights with other groups, especially when the rights being given already is not threatened/damaged at all. The civil marriage is not only about a defination, it is about rights. It is freedom but it is not promiscuous. Same sex marriage never encourages promiscuous behaviour. It is a defination based on the desire for a stable bond under the sky with maple leaves which are the same red in every corner.
