Lots immigrants have same misconception about the English improvement: two years or less is enough for improving English for daily and working communication.

Not true! If a new immigrant understands 50% of what is in the TV programs, I would say he/she has a good command of English and should have not much problem in the workplace for most technical jobs, e.g., computer jobs.作者: 瞎搅和 时间: 2004-7-20 20:43
