How to keep US green card while in Canada after marriage?

Hi, Does any one give me advice in this case:
Friend of mine has married in US a couple of months ago, he is Canadian citizen but his wife is US green card holder whom just arrived in US for 6 months. My friend wants her to come and live in Canada after married but doesn't want to lose her US permanent residence status. Ideally, she still wants to be both US and Canadian. Anyone knows?

if you stay outside of US over continuous 183 days, the US green card is considered as abandoned.
