迪克森的一时冲动毁掉了两个家庭。如果迪克森的罪名成立，鉴于加拿大没有死刑。他坐一辈子牢又有何用？不如判他一辈子不可以结婚，为柳乾的父母养老送终。这样既能照顾自己的父母，又能照顾被害人的父母。这比单单判其入狱要周全的多。

说句实话，也可能是楼上意见相左的双方都不爱听的话。
留学生有事，如果不是已经人命关天，国内普通家长求助，领馆不可能都上门察看，原因很简单，忙不过来。这次为什么并不知道已发生命案的情况下就能上门察看？而且事发后总领事亲自陪同柳父，当然是因为柳先生中央党校党史室主任的身份；如果出事的是更高身份的人，驻加大使都会从渥太华赶过来亲自陪同，这就是中国官场文化，是现实。
西方政体、官场文化与中国不同，但是如果哈珀的孩子去医院看急诊，是不是会和各位一样要等9个、12个小时呢？
话说回来，不用再高级别，柳先生如果是同级别，或者哪怕低几个级别的实权派官员，弄了足够多的银子，女儿在加拿大用得着在一个租住了11个人的house里住地下室吗？象其他实权派官二代官三代那样现款买栋大house女儿自己住，今天这样结局的几率恐怕就小多了。

  柳父肯定不是贪官（现在这种位子不可能有好机会直接贪污），但是不是有影响的人物那也不一定。中国官场文化复杂微妙，不是小市民那种现买现卖的势力眼那么简单。我认识当年邓朴方跳落楼后救他一命的骨科老教授，那时候小邓搁在急诊室值班医生不敢给治，还是老先生知道了大着胆子给做了手术。老头八十年代在301被自己的白眼狼学生排挤，他一气之下，调回了协和，结果他的学生还不放过，协和没有房子还要他把原单位的房子退出（按当时的规定公房有住就行，不论那个单位，不两头要就行）。国家二级教授的老先生几乎流落街头，只好去借亲戚的房子住。邓家人年年去看他，他从不谈自己的事，这回找不着他了，邓办才知道，院长直接就被邓办叫去了。过了没几天，301的院长和那个白眼狼一起上门来说：“我们不是撵您走，是想给您换个更大的房子，正在装修，所以才没告诉你。”--我靠，原来是想给人家一个“惊喜”，这样的无耻的谎话都能说出口，这官场的无耻，普通人的想象力是永远也不够的。

    I went on 2 dates with Brian. At first, when you meet him you would think he is a friendly/nice guy. As I talked to him more, I could feel the negative/dark side of him. I stopped seeing him after the 2nd date because I heard many bad and disturbing things about him from friends.

    I am really not sure why all the news articles making him look like as if he was a scholar with an "Effusive biography." I know know some his former friends and I have few friends who used to be friends with him. If you ask them, everyone would tell you that he changed a lot in the past years. He lost most of his friends because of his odd behaviors, lies and manipulation. He never graduated school, in facts he drops out after each enrollment. He never held a steady job. He is an alcoholic and a coke addict. He is either bisexual or confused about sexuality (few months after I went on a date with him, my friend and I have witnessed him giving blow job to someone one late night in the campus park.) He stalks and sends sexually explicit (drunk) messages to his female "friends" via favebook, text etc. Even though I made it clear that I didn't want to see him on the 2nd date and on numerous responses to drunk texts, he would still send me messages years later. He is also a pedophile and a child exploiter. A simple google search of his name or msn email address will give you proof. Search for "bscottdickson" at (hot)m(ai)l do(t) com. My previous post was blocked as spam, so I typed the email with extra characters. If you do a search for that email you will see that it is linked to some user participating in some sick nudist forum full of pedophiles and child molesters. Once you go there, view all posts made by this user ("charmanestar") by clicking on "Total Posts" and it will show you everything. What you will read there is very disturbing and shocking. If your kids had any contact with Brian, I suggest that you talk to them. After this incident, I will never trust the media again because they can blow anything out of proportion and paint whatever picture they want!

人生最痛苦之事莫过于白发人送黑发人，在这里，我祈祷早日让伤害柳乾的凶手得到他该有的惩罚。

我一直关注着柳乾的案子，据我猜测，柳乾应该是窒息死亡，凶犯入屋后想侵犯小柳，又怕柳乾大声呼救，于是用手或其他东西捂住她的口鼻，并趁机脱下她的衣裤，当凶手发现小柳死亡，遂拿着她的电脑手机逃跑。当然，这只是猜测。

总之，一切的一切，希望柳乾的父母保重，希望天王恢恢，疏而不漏。
