不要那么狭隘，苏联垮台这么久了，地球上依然没有人敢对它动以军事威胁，靠的就是苏共奠定下的军事基础。这充分说明一个问题，任何前人的先进遗产都值得后人保留和骄傲，不管这个取代者对前者的态度如何，我们在否定老毛和中共的同时，不要做老毛干过的同样的事情，彻底的否定对方实际上我们就变成了对方。

Even if there's no outside threat, when CCP feel there's a need to consolidate its ruling, it just needs to run its propaganda machine in full gear to make up enough stories of 'outside threats', and this always work very well among the Chinese people.  Regarding the military exercises near the yellow sea, remember it was because the South Korea was attacked first for several times, and both US and South Korea have claimed many times that the exercises do not intend to target China. Also, the area was international water between China and Korea, not China's internal lake. But the CCP was still successful in making up stories to let its people believe that US treats China as enemy.

关于美国在韩战期间是否会入侵中国我有不同的观点，美国同样没有事先计划轰炸中国大使馆，同样反复声明没有支持台湾独立，但是说和做可以是两码事，政策的变化取决于对手的抵抗决心，我们在生活中对不知是否有危险的事情都有以下经验：保守->试探->评估->决定。美国人处于什么阶段他们自己知道，好了，这个问题到此为止，再扯就扯远了。

Threats are mutual. When China's  neighbors feel they are being threatened by China, they natually would take defensive actions as well, incluing acquiring a lot of advanced weapons, even nuclear weapons and allied with the US and West to form an anti-China bloc, which lead to intensive military competition in the region and even armed conflicts.   Nobody plan to do this in the begining, but it would inevitably become a reality if neither side is willing to take a step back.

Overal speaking, China's military is still no match to US' at this time, but it's become more powerful than almost all its smaller neighbors, including Vietname, Phillipines, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, even Japan considering none of these countries possess any nuclear weapons which China has. It's true some of those countries have the agreements with the US for military protection, but whether US would risk itself, and act strongly when they are being attacked by China is still unknown especially if WMD are involved. So it's understandable that those countries feel being threatened by China's rapidly advancing military.

What you say work on China as well. it should 调整心态, or it will only invite more potential enemies and more armed competitions.  China may be more powerful than most of its neighbors individually, but when those nations are concerned enough to form an alliance with US against China, China would be on the losing side. 中国威胁论 is not an illusion, it's a reality, a lot of Chinese including yourself are longing for the day for China to dominate the entire world, and that day will not come peacefully.  I'm just talking about facts, not taking side.

中国威胁论 is not an illusion, it's a reality, a lot of Chinese including yourself are longing for the day for China to dominate the entire world, and that day will not come peacefully. Other countries are simply reacting to this reality.  Put yourself in their shoes, and you would understand.
