Friends, please be positive. Anyway, Canada is still better than China in general and in average.
Make sure what you want. As a Canadian citizen, if you have a house, a new car and a happy family and you are still lost. What do you really want?
My family have been in Canada for more than 7 years. I am sure none of you is more miserable than my family in the first year in Canada; however, we went through it. My husband is a senior software developer and team leader. I am a certified general accountant (CGA) and work full time in one of the world big-5 accounting firm. We have a house, two cars and three daughters. Two of our daughters were born here. The oldest one was less than two years old when we came to Canada. We didn't send her back to China like most people did. We survived and we feel happy now. I personally thank Canada for giving us opportunity to immigrate here and help us raise a happy family. We are happy to pay a lot of taxes now. At least this is a way to pay back this country and help people in need, just like when we first settled down in Canada.
Think about this: can you have a single house, two cars and a family of five after 7 years hard working in China? I can't imagin this. My husband and I worked 6 years in China after graduating from university. My daughter was born but we still could not afford every we need for living such as grocery, clothing, bicycles, let alone cars and house.
Opportunity is always here. The key is work hard to get it. There is always a chance as long as you are positive. Don't complaint about Canada. It is a wonderland, even though you may not feel it now.
I hope all Chinese immigrants will eventually be happy here.
Good luck and all the best!!! |
