For an annual physical check-up, you visit your family physician. The family physician can get $30 - $35 when your OHIP is swiped; Basic checks charge you $50 - $80(deponds on how many items done). Then, you may get several test papers for blood chek, urine check, ultrasound, X-ray ....
When you do the tests, the labs charge the test fees when your OHIP is swiped again and again....
You may not be able to complete all test in the same day. So, for each test result, your family physician call to visit clinic once a test result is available. For every visit, you are charged $30 - $35 when your OHIP is swiped.......
Therefore, only a regular annual checkup may charge govenment hundreds or thousands of dollars.
