In New York, the simple and naive just-graduated in journalism Andrea Sachs is hired to work as the second assistant of the powerful and sophisticated Miranda Priestly, the ruthless and merciless executive of the Runway fashion magazine. Andrea dreams to become a journalist and faces the opportunity as a temporary professional challenge. The first assistant Emily advises Andrea about the behavior and preferences of their cruel boss, and the stylist Nigel helps Andrea to dress more adequately for the environment. Andrea changes her attitude and behavior, affecting her private life and the relationship with her boyfriend Nate, her family and friends. In the end, Andrea learns that life is made of choices.

Andrea, whose greatest dream is to become a journalist. She gets a job in the fashion industry through Runway magazine, the most famous of its type, to make ends meet. But Andrea won't develop her writing skills in the magazine, but her talents as the editor in chief's assistant, Miranda.

Andy appreciated that Miranda took chance on her. I guess she respected her and understand her when Miranda's marriage was over and tried to comfort her. Andy became a very professional assistant(the first one) with boss's help. However, they have different goals. Miranda needs to keep her top position always but Andy seems need an ordinary life finally.
I have no idea it is right or not for her to quit. In reality, nobody will quit if he or she are working successfully in such top company. It is not just because it is famous, the most important thing is you will learn more in this kind of field which can make you more stronger. I though it over and over, if I were her, I would not quit.
For Miranda, I totally understand her situation even though she hurt Nigel for some reason. I do love this powerful woman.
