中美两国报纸等媒体的不同，从技术上来说，像中国实行通讯员投稿制度，由於不对自由来稿进行严格的事先事实核查，导致出现很多假新闻（有专门制造假新闻的个体户）。而美国的新闻报刊，基本不接受外稿，新闻由自己的记者采写，以保持负责任的、真实度更强的专业化报道。中国报纸等媒体的很多骨干是从基层的党委宣传部干事提拔上来的，而美国媒体的编辑记者，几乎都受过专业新闻训练，从地方报纸一点点做起，以新闻工作能力升迁。

第一帖大谈特谈新闻和言论自由, 实际是毫无新意的老生长谈. CNN公开侮辱华人与新闻言论自由无任何关系, 不能用新闻言论自由自由为借口逃避责任. 在新闻言论最自由的国家, 侮辱人格也是不允许的.

I have a couple of simple questions for you:
What did you really want to say? Do you have feeling - humanbeing's feeling? Didn't you feel any hurt by that dirty words from CNN? Or, as long as it is under the name of "freedom", they can make slander on you, your sisters, your brothers,and actually your blood? It is nothing to do with media freedom, but a typical racial discremination to the blood of a whole great nation.  Have you considered the consequence of such dirty words?  If the same voice were repeated through media, all Chinese people will lose our esteem, our freedom to live in the society we contribute to, including yours, if you are a true chinese.
We all know that nothing is absolute including the so called freedom of speech, which must be legal and can not be a excuse to damage others intendedly.  The fact tells us that CNN intended to damage all Chinese people, which can never be allowed in a lawful and democratic country.  CNN must pay to clean up the dirt created by it. CNN must be enforced by law to do so.  We get a chance to test the justice in a so called democratic country.  Let's we do what we can to support the lawsuit.

他们早就不把自己当中国人看了，怎么会觉得受到伤害？
他们只有攻击中国的时候和被中国人痛骂的时候，才会冒充一下中国人。

他们在给大家设制一个思想误区,既新闻自由就是可以胡说八道,不别遵守新闻工作者的操守了! 要不然胡说八道的人必须道歉和私营公营怎么扯上关系呢?!
