Those students that are here who came with the intention to stay back and convert their student status to PR are now "up in arms" because they feel cheated and while they are not entirely to blame for feeling this way, the country needs to support itself and its citizens first and correct the mistakes it has made. Granting the requests of foreign protesting students will not make anything better in the country and may instead push the country's economy in an even worse direction until the bad policies are eliminated and proper policies are put back in place as they had been the past for the good of all.
