我觉得很无辜。有苦没处诉，只能大哭一场解决问题。

某著名华社的负责人透过熟人表示，希望为他们协会的中文学校招聘一名校长，当时特别强调，为了让校长的收入“好一点”，要求该受聘人士能够兼教一门功课，譬如中文、英文、历史等。问及该职务收入多少，“负责人”说，两万到三万吧。

两到三万的年薪做一位校长兼教师，绝对是低薪，但对于新移民来说却已是梦寐以求的。我的朋友不仅在中国有相关工作经历，来多伦多后又重新“回炉”，在约大读了第二个学位。做事特别认真的她兴奋地一夜难眠，认认真真地为如何做好“校长”做着准备。

谁之，如约见面后那位公众人物对人家用心准备的“如何让海外华人孩子学好中文”的整套想法毫无兴趣，关心的只是“谈谈你如何为学校创效益”。我的朋友问到他年薪的事，答曰：他根本没有说过年薪这样的话。他说，校长的收入“来自他自己创的效益中提成”。原来这个校长兼教师的职位，教书并不重要，重要的是为协会赚钱。

应该说，新移民在找工过程中碰到的类似受骗事件非常普遍，骗人者骗计绝不上档次，都是些黔驴技穷的老套手段：在广告或其它宣传方式中，譬如请熟人推荐等，均事先抛出工薪的诱饵，否则怎会有人前去应工？但当你真坐在他或她面前时，诱饵就露出了尖勾。

一所发展中且具有良好生源基础的中文学校一直以来面向社区及华人后裔提供高品质的中文文化及语言教育。为适应学校业务及发展需要，现拟招聘学校负责人一名。

主要工作职责：

1. 独立承担招生、教学计划制定及实施、师资管理、教学管理等工作。

2. 对学校日常运作实行目标管理。

3. 确保教学计划及课程的有效实施。

4. 通过与政府部门、企业及社区组织的有效交流与沟通提升学校的名誉度并使学校的办学目标得到社会的认可与支持。

5. 能独立承担一门课程（中文、数学、美术等）的教学。

6. 定期向理事会报告学校发展情况，并负责执行理事会决定。

要　　求：

1. 有较强的组织能力、沟通能力及协调能力。

2. 英文良好。

3. 对学校管理运作有良好的建议。

4. 有丰富的教学行政管理经验。

5. 具有3-5年小学（7-12岁儿童）教学经验。

6. 正规师范院校专科以上毕业，有加拿大教学及生活经验者优先考虑。

A developing Chinese School takes pride in providing high-quality cultural

are seeking a committed and dynamic leader who will provide strategic
direction to our school.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Contribute to the strategic planning process, recommend short and long-term teaching plans/objectives, and participate in performance/coaching reviews for the teachers.

* Manage and control the school’s operating and administrative expenses within budget allocation.

* Allocate resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of curriculum.

* Encourage business growth through liaisons with external agencies such as government, corporate and community organizations. Ensures that the community is aware of and supports school’s vision.

* Able to teach an academic subject perfectible.

* Able to work with the Board of Directors, including reporting projects, initiating changes and implementing new policies etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

* Leadership ability to influence and motivate people and build team spirit.

* Effective communication skills to develop and foster favourable Instructor/Student relationships, mentor Instructors and conduct presentations in formal settings.

* Must be able to monitor developments impacting on smooth delivery of curriculum and student satisfaction as well as develop recommendations for process improvement and practices requiring change.

Credentials Required:

* Normal College Diploma.

* Three to five years experience in the field of education, an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
