During war, I think China will hit Okinawa (U.S. bases) other than Tokyo.  China will also hit Hawaii (headquarters of the United States Pacific Command) first other than other U.S. Cities.

If the war is only between China and the U.S. China will not bomb Taiwan as long as Taiwan does not send any arm forces to attack China.  Taiwan has no major U.S. base and is not a military target.
