RCADIA -- A Southern California resident discovered the body of a stranger at the bottom of a backyard swimming pool early Thursday, officials said.

Coroner's officials identified the man as 35-year-old Greg Tser-Ming Chen of Arcadia. The autopsy is pending.

Police responded to the 700 block of Camino Grove Avenue about 8:05 a.m. after a man reported discovering the body of a man, whom he did not recognize, at the bottom of his swimming pool, Arcadia police Sgt. Brian Ortiz said.
