What's "international community"? It is nothing but western media. western media likes to speak for the US led west but in the name of the world. Human rights and freedom of speech have become a tool to attack non-US friendly governments. It is important to protect basic human rights but it is not justifiable to use it to overturn other governments or invade other countries. I am not a big supporter of CCP but I have my good conscience. Without CCP, China probably is not able to achieve what she has accomplished today. China needs national unity and stability. CCP is far from perfect. Corruption may cost the life of CCP. But we have to give our credit to it when the credit is due.
Thanks God, China is rising otherwise we would have to face a tougher life in Canada because of the implicit or hidden discrimination.
Guys, feel free to dislike CCP and Chinese government. But please work with other Chinese Canadians to have a better future for our offsprings in the future in Canada. There is still a lot of work to do to improve the status of human rights, equality and freedome of speech in Canada. Don't be settled as a second class citizen!! |
