You can go to Ontario government website, or just use google to search for "second career for Ontario unemployed". You will find a toll free phone and a lot of information. After reading that infommation, you will know if you are eligible to receive that financial aid. Basically if you were laid off in 2007, and you could get an offer from a public or private college, which provides Second Career Training to those umemployed people, you are eligible. However, you have to go to an assessor or case mamager who will decide whether you are eligible and arrange for your educaton and follow up your case.
