BEIJING (Reuters) - Chinese police shot dead dozens ofknife-wielding attackers on Monday morning after they staged assaults on twotowns in the western region of Xinjiang, the official Xinhua news agency saidon Tuesday. 北京（路透社）周一早晨，中国警察击毙数十个挥舞刀械的袭击者，他们是在新疆西部地区的两个小镇上发动了袭击，官方新华社周二报道。 "Police officers at the sceneshot dead dozens of members of the mob," the brief report said.An initialinvestigation showed that it was an "organised and premeditated terroristattack", Xinhua added.
