有苦难言：出了车祸才发现买了假保险

今年月初买的保险,这家伙叫robert-z,电话是416-710-4280.给他1820现金,知道出了交通意外才知道保险是假的.这小子个子在175cm左右,东北口音,瘦小.第一次见面开的是奥迪,第二次开的是保马suv,小瘦脸.保险公司名字是Nordic facility ins.现在我不知到如何处理后面的事情.

1. 你记得他的车牌吗?或者你知道他的信息吗?

3. 你赶快再买保险,直接去保险公司或是代理的办公室.

I bought this insurance from Jerry because:

1. I had bought the car, was waiting for insurance to complete the transaction.
2. He would deliver the Insurance Sheet.
3. Most of all, it was cheapest.

I asked him when I should receive the official documents from the insurance company. He said it would take about 2-3 months. I waited and waited. I never received any letter from any insurance company.

He wrote me a receipt in Chinese. As my insistence, he signed in Chinese. I am trying to find a scanner. I would post his signature here.

1. I had very negative experience with Toronto police. They are the last person in this world I would trust. 报警? Forget about it!
2. $171x10, $1710 a year, very good deal. But they changed to $256. Not sure it would time 10 or 12.
3. I joint Chinese professional association after. Now I am using Meloche Monnex. Around $2000 first year for liability with $2000 deduction. Total amount is $1 million.
In Johnson, deduction was $0. Total amount was 2 million.
4. Because Johnson increased rate without my agreement, I didn't pay. It's not finished yet.
I agreed to pay more, but not $256x10 or $256x12. Can't afford it.

3. I cancelled the Policy in Januanry 2007 with Johnson, and chose another company.
4. Things turned ugly after all parties tried to solve the the problem. It's a long story, very hard to explain.

1. $145 per month was not cheap(Almost same price next year offered by Johnson before they doubled the rate).
2. He asked for commission for his service.
3. I thought maybe he put me in some association or he changed my location or something else.
4. I never thought he could do such a way. The policy just didn't exist! He took all the money! How dare?

你说当你准备续第二年保险时,保费翻倍,你是不是咨询了所有的保险公司,都是这样的吗?


Not sure for other companies.
Second year I chose Johnson. Because of my company group policy, they offered very low rate in the beginning.
When they performed routine background check, they can't find my history record.

Here is the email from Johnson's Tracey Snelgrove, Benefit Specialist, National Development:
"We can't get any information either, our underwriters called and they said there was never a policy for you, it was only for a  day not a year.  So there is nothing else I can do."

I called, emailed, faxed to Nordic. It took a long time. I started car insurance with Johnson since Aug 30, 2006. I finally cancelled the policy in Jan 2007.
