Champlain CCAC 149,321

First of all the salary is already very competitive as compared with the "mainstream" agency.

Just wonder why only the salary of ECO should be competitive or even more than with other agency but not applicable to staff in other position.

If you have a social work degree, do you know how much you earn in "Chinese" organisation, most probably less 30 to 40% less when compare with CCAC or CAS or hospital. Why the salary of CEO should be comarable, but not the others.

Yee Hong probably is one of the very few Chinese organizations which pay a fair market salary to their staff.

Most of the EDs or CEOs in Chinese organizations are paid from 50K to 70K, which is alot lower than that of the frontal staff in the mainstream organizations.

CCAS pays their social workers $80,583 per year.  CCACs pay like 75K while schools and hospitals pay up to 90K. Their supervisors make slightly shy of 100K.

Workers in most Chinese settlement agencies receive a salary from 35K to 50K.  The consequency is almost everyone of them use the first opportunity to jump ship to work for CCAC, CAS, hospital or school board, which affects the quality of service provided to the Chinese community.

Do we want staff in Chinese organizations to continue the scenario of under-payment and sub-par services?

参照多华会总监及那几位的标准, 如果你是在大公司(比如5千万)做网管的, 也至少应该有和CEO一样的收入, 要不谁放心让你管整个公司的网络啊.............

Their CEOs get paid from 89K to 189K, plus allowance which equals to 67% of the salary if working in New York City.

Frontline staff are paid from 87K to 117K, plus allowance which equals to 33% of the salary if working in Bangkok.

据我知道, 颐康在大约94-95年间公开向社会招聘窝, 你那个时候没有去APPLY吗?

Is this salary range based on your survey? I am not sure about this exciting estimate, though.

如果是这样,我就不会说在某些以华人或亚裔或为主导的机构给人工比较低了。事实上,据我有限的了解,连这个收入水平都达不到的。 某些 那些机构的观念是:要省先省人工!因为人工是大头。

另外,我的ED跟我们专门开会汇报过ED的工作职责,可惜现在手头没有材料。从法律、财务、人事等等方面均有非常细致的要求,有些工作职责不象我们想象的那样简单。

各个社团以及服务机构也都搞“终身主席”多好啊


至于继任人嘛,也都找啊找的找上十年八年的,嘿嘿。不同意的,一律扣上藏独帽子!
