以下紫色部分是 正确解析，而红色部分是 陷阱和干扰项.

      Q16： The play we’re seeing on Wednesday evening is a modern one, and we’re going to the premiere, ...... with amazing lighting effects and a soundtrack of electronic music. Though unfortunately the playwright

is ill and is unlikely to be able to attend.

16 题 premiere = 首次公演，同义替换， 对应 F be performed for the first time.

本题干扰项有两个. 一，”soundtrack of music” 是电影配乐, ≠ live music.

二，听到 attend，漏听了ill 和 unlikely，而误选A.

        Q17：On Thursday we’re seeing a play that was first performed last year, when it was commissioned to mark a hundred years since the birth in the town of a well-known scientist. mark a hundred years 和 B的 celebrate an anniversary 属于同义表达，所以选B.

本题干扰项是“for the first time” 如果漏听了last year，就会误选F.

      Q18： Friday’s play will really make you think hard about what clothes to pack, as it’ll be in the garden of a palace.  It’s a beautiful setting, but I’d better warn you, there won’t be much protection from the wind.
