                  雅思口语考试 提分策略 (1)

Question: 针对口语Part 1和part 3的问题，怎样回答得简练、又有层次呢？

Solution: 不同问题 有不同的技巧。 咱们“对症下药”。

总共6种类型及相对应策略如下。因为每篇字数有限制，所以分上下两篇。好，闲话少叙。

类型 I  描述类问题    What is ... ( like )?

类似的还有：

What subjects are you studying? /What kind of work do you do?

What changes have taken place in your hometown?

What is your hometown famous for?

Which is the biggest feature of your house?

Where do you like to live for a long time, in a city or in the countryside?

Solution ： 使用 discourse marker 交流标记语

例如，Well（句首，犹豫）, To be honest / frank,  I would say,（不肯定 或 委婉语气）

Actually (事实，纠正), I mean (解释，同义表达),  The thing is (强调) ...

举例说明   eg.  What is your major?

Well, I major in English. I am keen on learning it because English is an important language.

I mean, it helps me communicate with foreigners. The thing is, I can learn different cultures

like American and British culture.

这样，句子之间的 cohesion衔接 和 coherence连贯性 就好了一些。

类型 II    喜好类问题 怎么回答？

Do you like cooking?

What is your favourite dish?

What do you like/dislike about cooking?

Do you prefer cooking to dining out?  

Solution ：使用 同义表达

不喜欢：

I don’t really like ...   

I don’t like ... that much

I’m not a big fan of ...   

I detest ...   

I can’t stand ...

不喜欢—扩展：

不擅长：1.  I’m horrible at ...

              2. 反面替代：Instead, I ...

举例说明  eg.  Do you like cooking?  (否定回答)

No, to be honest, I don’t like cooking that much.  I mean (解释), I cannot stand smell

like oil and smoke. The thing is（强调)，I am a horrible cook, so instead, I just get

takeout or fast food.

喜欢：

I like /love /enjoy/ prefer ...

I’m into ...

I’am fond of...

I’m very keen on ...

I’m a big/ huge fan of ...

I’m very passionate about...

喜欢--扩展：

擅长：I’m quite good at / talented in  ...

尤其：especially, particularly

释放压力： release stress

举例说明  eg.  Do you like cooking? （肯定回答）

Yes, I’m really into cooking. Actually, my friends always say that I’m a talented cook. They especially like my Northern-style Chinese dishes. To be honest, cooking is a great way for

me to release stress after a busy day of work / school.

类型 III  分门别类：问题  What types/kinds of ...do you ...?

或类似

What types/kinds of food do you cook?

What types of book do you read?

What types of films do you like?

What kinds of music do you like?

Solution:   由面到点 原则

我喜欢很多种...。尤其喜欢..., 因为...;  除此以外，我还喜欢...,  因为...

many different kinds of = a lot of different = a variety of

Type 1 (The most important/popular type/kind)

Type 2 (The second type of ... is ...)

Type 3 (Another kind of ... is...)

举例说明  eg.  What type of food do you cook?  （分2个层次）

Well, I cook many different types of food. The food I cook the most often is Chinese food, such as fried rice and dumplings.  Actually, I think my food tastes much better than that in many Chinese restaurants in Toronto.

Another type of food I cook is Italian food, like pasta and pizza. My best neighbour Lisa is from Italy and she is nice enough to share a lot of recipes（食谱） on authentic（真正的） Italian dishes.
