Gregster45 Toronto 885 Reviewed 2 days agoVery Dangerous Situation Here ! This place has been turned into a refugee camp. It is disgusting! I was planning to stay in this end of Toronto for a couple of nights on business. I refused to check in after I saw the zoo in the lobby. I was panhandled and accosted during my short time there. If you value your life, stay away from this s ... hole !
Amy C 5147 Reviewed 1 week agoUN Hotel Trudeau Irregular - UN hôtel Trudeau irrégulier Recently booked a Sunday night stay for a few days, as I had a series of business meetings at a company nearby in the morning. Now that I am writing this review, I should have attempted to write a review before booking at this hotel. In writing the review, one of the Trip Advisor questions was "Do any of the staff at this hotel speak or provide service in Arabic?" I find this an odd question for a Canadian hotel. When I showed up, there were kids running around the hotel unsupervised and in the pool area, and adults running talking very loudly loitering in the common area, a lot of signs of run down and general filth you might find in a Toronto rooming house downtown. I basically walked in and walked out, kept my bags in the car. After checking in, I went to my floor and there were signs of neglect, more loitering. I hardly bothered opening the door, and laying claim to the room as the floor had a warm foul odour of urine, cigarette smoke and sewer gas. I was afraid to spend the night as a single female later at night, needing to be up and out of there early. I demanded a full refund, and cancellation of the reservation. The front desk staff became surely, I demanded to speak to the General Manager and the night manager came out and told me I was lucky to have been given a room tonight. I told them if they didn't, I would dispute the charge with my credit card company. I decided it was best to drive up to Markham and take my chances with morning rush hour traffic instead of convenience and found a clean, safe and recently built hotel. When I emailed the company, I got this form letter response which was less than adequate. I am sure corporate greed is at play, because our Government of Canada must be paying them a hefty sum to become a longterm stay hotel for the hijrah. "Your feedback is welcome at the Radisson Hotel Toronto East. Although we are disappointed to hear that someone's stay was not to their satisfaction, we appreciate knowing what issues you experienced so that we can take the appropriate steps to correct them and hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future." Disgusted to say the least by the filthy and rude people who have taken over this place, and I am lucky I wasn't accosted more than I was since my time stayed in this hotel was very brief to say the least. Show less Room Tip: Not at this hotel, it is a refugee camp for the UN at the request of Prime Minister Trudeau
WorldTravel904 Los Angeles, California 2135 Reviewed 1 week agoDisgusted As others have stated, do not stay here. This place is an absolute zoo. Stayed here for a business trip for 2 nights. Was shocked and horrified at the nightmare situation when we arrived in the lobby. Huge crowds of people, children spitting, yelling, jumping on top of each other, and to make things even worse, one of them stole my phone and I had to chase them to get them to return it. The child's parents were nowhere to be found. The lobby is filthy, packed with people at all times of the day, and the noise is unbearable at any hour. I have no faith in any Radisson after this nightmare experience. I will never return. Do not waste your money here. I would rather have slept in our car.
