Tony Campolo describes himself as a "staunch evangelical" and he assures us "I surrendered my life to Jesus."
Tony Campolo also believes the Christian church should "welcome" non-repentant "married" sodomites.

Tony Campolo says, "Jesus makes clear that on Judgment Day the defining question will be how each of us responded to those he calls 'the least of these'." In Campolo's context the "least of these" is not Barronelle Stutzman, a senior citizen and Christian who is losing her business and life savings because her Biblically informed conscience doesn't allow her to serve homosexual weddings (she serves homosexuals gladly and politely in other contexts), rather he is speaking of non-repentant homosexuals. Notwithstanding the fact homosexuals dominate the media, government, education, and corporate America; according to Campolo we can forget about Barronelle and to be "loving and pleasing to Jesus" we need to affirm the Bruce Jenners, Tim Cooks and Ellen DeGeneres's of our culture.
