I really don't agree with the article.
-- First, I don't think people live only for food, clothing, house and cars - generally - meterial things. Most people live for higher needs - feelings, plus, those meterial thing are not bad in North America. There is no doubt that it just feels better, happier, more relaxing living in North America. You cannot deny that. You can say whatever, do whatever you like, as long as you don't violate the law. Nobody is so noisy about your life. Isn't that great???
-- Second, how many chinese people in China live a life like what the author described??? Not many. Only some people in some big cities enjoy their privileges from the policies China has made. Most chinese people live a very low standard life, and that keeps the so-called rich, special people living a luxury life? Do all chinese deserve the same right, style, and type of livings? Yes !!! Do they have the same livings in China? No !!! The author just cannot compare North America's weaknesses to China's strengthes, and got a conclusion based on that, just because you have a good life there. Too shallow.
Right or wrong, it is your personal choice. Good or bad, live with it, and stop complaining. |
