Congratulation! You have a great kid with good potential in the future. However, everyone knows success doesn't equal whether you study or enter superior university. It is a learning skill. I have over 40 university's classmates holding PHD degree from top 40 USA universities. None of them have any outstanding academic achievement so far. About one of half still are struggling to find a permant job. Chinese people usually are good at learning and examination skill but not on innovation, creative thinking and risk taking. I hope more parents understand that your kids 's future success do not depend on which university he/she will study rather encourage to develop kids interest and creative thinking. |
