Beginning in 2010, the Wetʼsuwetʼen hereditary chiefs and their supporters set up barricades and checkpoints along the Morice West Forest Service Road that provides access to the construction of pipeline projects,这个堵路一堵就是9年,一直堵到2019年!In January 2019, the RCMP entered the territory to enforce the court injunction,然而皇家骑警一离开,路又被堵上了(Afterwards, the blockades were rebuilt)!2020年2月,皇家骑警不得不又去清场(On February 6, the RCMP began removing the blockades on Wetʼsuwetʼen territory)。
(March 7 - Via Rail service has resumed on most routes, after disruption to more than 1,070 trips and roughly 165,000 passengers, according to Via Rail),与此同时,2月24日的堵高速( Highway 6),官方毫无办法,直到3月21日,堵路的人自己放弃了,官方才收复高速(The OPP West Region tweets that Highway 6 is expected to re-open over the (March 21–22) weekend)。。。 。。 |
