Do you guys mean it is impossible to achieve that? Don't underestimate ourself.

I don't know Wei Ping myself. But when I prepared U.S. CPA, I know my MBA classmate was taking her class that time (2002-2003) for the preparation. My classmate was an experienced accountant backhome, and my impression is she did think Wei Ping is really good at her profession.

For the other part of her background, I have no idea. But I know lots of people who has the Big 4 (used to be Big 5) accounting firms experience got their job very quickly here. And I also know some Chinese are in senior finance/accounting positions. So I think it is reliable. Sometimes I regret I didn't stay with KPMG long enough as at that time I thought it was more decent job to do banking business.

My point is that I saw so many Chinese underestimate themselves, always disbelieve themselives can be accepted by the society here. Generally speaking, it is fair here, be persistent, you will be where you want to be. I just received a phone from a couple, who invited me to their family party to celebrate their small success after struggling for the goal over two years - both of them found well-paid jobs recently. I'm really happy for them - although I hesitated many times during the period if their persistence will be paid off.

中国中央财经大学，没有听说过，原名叫什么？

Former name is College/School (Xue2 Yuan4) rather than University (Da4 Xue2) : Zhong Yang Cai Jin Xue Yuan (short name: Zhong Cai Yuan)

I used to have many colleagues graduated from the school.

It was not so famous previously, but thanks to the economic development in China these years, it is enjoying better reputation after 1990.

Another reason is that it is subject to the supervision of Ministry of Finance, rather than Ministry of Education like most other universities. But it is well-known among the economic/finance field at least these years.

Making over $100K is not a big deal for an acountant especially as a CFO. I am not a CA, CGA or CMA, and it took me much longer than her career to be in the group of making more than $100K. But my subordinate's daughter, 2 years after her CA, at the age of 25, was making voer $90K in 2003. By then her father, a scientist with a Master degree and over 15 years of North America experience, was making less than $65K.

Can not compare salaries in different fields. Some in accounting and financing do make a very good living.

By the way, my kids go to Xin Dong Fang's Chinese glasses and I think Wei Ping is not so bad as some said about her - She is an OK person in my opinion and better than many principals of the training schools/centers run by Chinese who do not understand the NA systems - At least Wei Ping worked for a couple main-stream NA firms and understands a certain ways of doing things in NA.

Wei Ping - You do have a long way to go. I did hear many complaints about your school and your staff who are not as professionals as they should be.

You should use a more professional way to advertise.
