The basketball court and the park next to it was filled with children and teenagers at the time of the shooting.

The teens spotted the man and woman hiding behind a hut in the park located in Richmond, while engaging in sexual activity.

The teens, who are 17 and 19 years old, began making fun of the couple for having sex in public, angering the man.

Gunfire erupted inside the Blackwell Park and the teens were injured. One teen was hit in the back while the other suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.

Both victims were taken to Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical Center, where they were treated. They are expected to make a full recovery.
