据印媒报道，在英国旅游业抱怨本国签证系统无法吸引到足够多大把花钱的中国游客之后，英国将使中国游客申请签证变得更容易。英国财长奥斯本率领一个贸易代表团访华5天，他宣布将简化中国公民的签证申请。中国游客到欧洲旅行往往选择不去英国，因为这需要他们在申根签证之外申请英国签证。这位财长表示，简化签证手续后，到欧盟国家旅游的中国人将无需再单独申请英国签证。他还说，明年夏天开始将提供24小时快速签证服务。

Chinese visitors to Europe frequently choose not to stop in Britain because they have to apply for a separate visa from much of the rest of Europe.

The treasury says many applicants for EU visas will now be able to use the same application for British visas, without having to fill out a separate form.

It also says a new 24-hour fast visa service will be available starting next summer.

中国游客到欧洲旅行往往选择不去英国，因为这需要他们在申根签证之外申请英国签证。

there is a constant habit in indan media to downgrade chinese govt and people. this i feel is done with an intention to make indians feel that chinese are as bad as we are. indianmedia can do it as much they want and indian people can blive it as much as they like. but facts will remain facts and that is ...today china is a genuine developing country and chinese are genuine spending travellers. when u go to china and when u see the infrastructure there, u are forced to blive thier arrival in international superiority, comparatively india's arrival is more emotional than the ground work to be seen. not only uk but in the coming years everyone will see that ...china will command all benefits that are enjoyed by a devloped nation and rightly so. and the indian people and media can make a cry about it and keep highlighting all the slightly visible or non visible negativity, but it will hardly make a difference outside india.
