I feel difficult to agree with the argument that Chen was too young to have the capability of thinking thoroughly.  How about those who jumped from the high rise to die?  They were over 30 and "old" enough to think considerately.  But they didn't .  They chose to leave the burden to their family.

In addition, nowadays youngsters are aware of much more stuff than us ten years ago.

It is also unfair to attribute some responsibility to Chen's parent.  Someone argued that if they didn't send Chen over he would have been fine in China.  How ridiculous.  What about 99.99% of other young students who are focusing on their academic and career development?

So, Chen did such horrible thing because in the very deep of his heart, he is violent, selfish, and brutal.  However, he is coward!!  Because when he wants to make revenge he could only harm those who have no ability to protect themselves.

这个记者可能不了解卢刚案，卢刚性格上有问题，但那些人对他确实很不公平。一个聪明的、在美国呆了6年的博士怎么会轻易“误解”被歧视？

卢刚杀人是不好的，但任人欺负更加不好。

Replying to the topic, as a matter of fact, everywhere in the world human being's sins are identifical, no matter he/she lives in China or any other places.  Any human being who trys to cause demages to other human beings is driven by his/her internal motivations - for money, for personal mental happiness, or for personal physical joys.

It is totally wrong to critisize any country - it is not just stupid but very very stupid.  China's culture revolution plus many other negative social changes may poision any young persons' minds.  But, everyone takes responsibility for hisself/herself.  Why have 99% of people been sticking to basic social principles and standards?  Why have those 1% bad guys rights to accuse the society for making them bad rather than themselves?

Think about Gemans in world war II.  Think about US 40 years ago.  Are those sins better than what some Chinese have done?
