求助: 我几天前把一老外的车给撞了

你们好,我几天前把一老外的车给撞了,一现代吉普,后车灯裂了,BUMPER 裂了,还有后车灯下面的一块BODY撞进去了,大概要花1400刀,我没报保险公司,他也没有要求,他让我给他钱就行了,求助各位,这样做合适吗?如果行,他应该给我写什么样的证明,以后就不管我的事了.

If possible, please confirm that he didn't report to CRC and report to his insurance. (Did you exchage the Driver Licence, insurance information at the scence?) And actually do you know whose fault ?

When decided that both of  you want to resolve this accident privately,  Be sure ask him ( or you can prepare one and ask him to sign it) to give you a letter (paper, or whatever) clearly state after paying the amount you agreed on, there is no any further liability or responsibility on this accident.  (please rephase it carefully follow some samples, etc, make sure he can not mess up with you anymore)
