They have more than 100,000 people in over 120 countries working in five major operating groups. Now has career opportunity available for experienced Process Engineers at Houston, TX, US.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the front-end design of refinery units, petrochemical & specialty chemical plants, ammonia plants, Gas-To-Liquids (GTL) plants, coal gasification units, oil & gas processing facilities, liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, and/or LNG receiving terminals.  With minimal guidance and supervision, conducts technical and economic studies, and prepares process designs and specifications of onsite, offsite, and utility systems.  Develops heat and material balances, process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), system design parameters, and design or rating of equipment such as vessels, towers, exchangers, pumps, etc.  Responsibility includes the development of process simulation models and advanced controls/process optimization for part or units of the total plant using programs such as Aspen, Hysys, and/or PRO-II.  

The candidate for this position enjoys working with people, likes to work on technology improvement to expand our knowledge library, and appreciates the opportunity to write and present papers at technical conferences.

Requirements for this position include a bachelors or masters degree in chemical engineering and a minimum of two (2) years related experience. Must be canadian citizen.
