i said zte shouldn't had been on the table when china tried to negotiate with u.s on the trade disputation. zte is basically over and china should never think about getting away with u.s current politics, unless china would be willing to pay really big for that. i don't think saving zte really worth that price to pay. paying and trying to do what u.s asked for is like putting a noose to china's own neck and leave another end of the rope to u.s. zte will die anyway. why not just let it go and save that big chunk of money and the power of those zte people for what china should really do --- developing china's own processor chips --- instead of letting zte dying even uglier, shameful and embarrassing for nothing good.

zte was not doing business on u.s soil and i don't think there is a multi-lateral international agreement keeping zte away from doing business with iran. i don't see the point why zte or even chinese government should have to pay for violating a u.s domestic law. yeah, zte or even other chinese companies might have to die without u.s processors, then let it be. if chinese government really want to do something to help zte, find those 80,000 employees some new jobs, and i believe they can do a much better job to fix china's own problems rather than making money for u.s.
