The impact of infrastructure spending on the economy is very slow, it takes at least ten years to build any significant infrastructure projects, and a lot of money will be wasted in the process. By that time, the economy will either already be fully recovered or totally dead. And the fact that infrastructure spending comes from the borrowed money will further hurt business confidence and sink the loonie. The priority now is to build business confidence, cut government waste and reduce financial burden on ordinary Canadians. Resist pressures from 'green fascists' and immediately approve Energy East, Northern Gateway pipelines to open new markets for Canada's energy products and create jobs. Cancel carbon taxes and stop the nonsense talks of climate change, green infrastructure, refugees and endless attacks on Harper. Leader or quitter? Time to show your true color, Mr Trudeau. |
