Some people have no idea, China buys US debts not because it wants to or being kind, it's simply because the US uses that money to buy hundreds of billions $ of Chinese goods and supports hundreds of millions Chinese jobs.  
If the US stops borrowing money from China, then the Chinese government and workers will be very worried. This is the reality.
