嗨，大家好。最近我通过Career Bridge找了一个co-op的工作，这家机构是Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council, 所以也接触了很多有关移民工作的事情。TRIEC在5月底－6月初有一个礼拜，会举办各种活动，倡导政府以及本地公司为移民的工作问题提供更多的帮助。其中有一个1天的Workshop,新移民都可以免费参加，主持人Mike Lipkin会介绍多个人的成功找工经历以及他的一些宝贵经验。

On June 3rd, 2006, immigrants from across the Toronto Region will gather together for Living the Dream. As part of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC)’s “A World of Experiences” public awareness week, this full-day workshop is helping to address the problems immigrants face when trying to find employment in their chosen profession.

Living the Dream, facilitated by world-renowned motivational speaker Mike Lipkin, will bring together up to 500 immigrants, teaching self-marketing techniques that will help them launch their career in Canada.

This free full-day workshop, generously sponsored by Deloitte, is open to all immigrants who have not yet found their first employment in their profession in Canada.

Participants to the program will learn:

•        How to focus their efforts for maximum effectiveness.
•        How to understand and develop their "Unique Value Proposition".
•        How to understand and develop their unique "Strategy for Success".
•        How to act and communicate in a way that builds confidence and rapport with others.
•        How to use every experience as an opportunity to learn and grow as a valued professional.
•        How to create a personal aura of strength and possibility that attracts opportunity to them.

Every participant will receive a copy of Mike's newest book and CD set, as well as the opportunity to network with hundreds of others.
