I got a call from the supreme court of Canada office yesterday, the court told me that the judgement and decision for my application for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada will be made on Thursday this week and I can call the office to get result.
A lot is at stake. If you win you will rewrite a lot of the law on this. Judges are lazy they may want to leave the status quo intact. Too many interests at stake. But if there is any notion of Justice in Canada, this case is it and you must win. The government didn't even have the decency to reply and defend. This is utter contempt of justice for the small fellow.
Occasionally David beats Goliath.
